What hoodWARs is

hoodWARs lets two to four players stake ETH or hWARS coin (the in-game currency) on an arcade match. All the stakes are held by an escrow smart contract on Robinhood Chain. The game server referees the match and signs the result; the contract pays the winner. hoodWARs is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Robinhood.

Fees

When a match has a winner, a platform fee (shown before you accept or post a challenge, and capped at 10% by the contract) is taken from the pot and sent directly to the operator account. There is no fee on a draw. Winnings and draw refunds are credited to you by the contract when the result is recorded and stay there until you claim them with your wallet; claiming costs a small network fee that you pay. The fee that applies to a match is fixed when the match opens. Network (gas) fees are paid by you to the network.

Risks

Your responsibilities

You must be of legal age and it must be lawful for you to play skill-based wagering games where you live. Rules about wagering differ widely and some places prohibit it. You are responsible for checking and for any taxes. Do not play if you are unsure. Never stake money you cannot afford to lose. If gambling is causing you harm, please seek support.

Conduct

Do not use bots, scripts, exploits, multiple wallets against yourself or any other method to gain an unfair advantage. The operator may block wallets from the game server. Blocking does not affect your right to reclaim funds that are already in the contract.
